Chicken Noodle Soup

The chicken noodle soup has always been one of my favorites at D>D. I’ve loved everything about it—no canned soup for me! However… something changed since the last time I purchased it. Was it a fluke batch or a change in the recipe… I heated up a container of the soup a couple nights ago. When I dumped it in the pan I thought to myself that it looked greasy but figured that would work its way down once it heated up. Didn’t happen. It was too much grease/chicken fat on top so I attempted to skim out as much as I could. I even tried adding some additional chicken broth to it and even water but I just couldn’t eat it because of all the fat in the broth. I buy this soup to have for those times when my stomach is upset and the chicken broth is soothing. This time it made me nauseous because of the fat in the broth so I had to discard it. What a waste! If you changed the recipe, please change it back.

I took the soup to a friend who is not well and she said it was the best she had ever eaten! She also ordered more last week!

Has a great taste, it is seasoned perfectly, and a definite need to keep in freezer for a night you feel that cold coming on. Good comfort food, just ask my sister!!
